what is resistor? def'n, symbol,SI unit, types, difference, specification, uses and application.

In last post we have to see read or learn the deep working, information of battery and it's types, specifications.

In this post we have to learn the identification of resistor are mainly used in electronic circuits

A passive electrical component with two terminals that are used for  either limiting or regulating the flow of electric current in electrical circuits.

Definition:-

The main purpose of resistor is to be a reduce or control the flow of current in electric circuit and adjust the signal levels to divide voltages, bias active elements, and terminate transmission lines

It is made up of copper wire which is coiled around a ceramic rod and outer part of resistor is coated with an insulting paint

Cylindrical glass rod in cheaps are coated because they protect from natural hazards and pressure.

What is the SI unit of resistor?

The SI unit of resistor ohm symbolized by the Greek letter omega

Symbol of resistor?

Main points:-

1. Control the flow of current

2. reduce the current flow

3. Adjust the voltage signal level to device

4. Terminals transmission lines
